From Timber to Timeless Furniture
Saharanpur has carved wood for generations — the town’s workshops are where much of India’s hand-carved furniture has always come from. Ours has been one of them since 1994.
Every piece starts as seasoned timber chosen board by board, is cut and joined by hand with mortise, tenon and dovetail joints, carved where the design calls for it, and finished in layers by the same artisans who built it. Then it is checked joint by joint before it is packed for your home.

Select the Wood
Seasoned sheesham, teak and mango, chosen board by board for grain and strength.

Prepare the Timber
Dried and conditioned so it stays true through Indian summers and monsoons.

Shape & Join
Cut, planed and joined by hand — mortise, tenon and dovetail, not staples.

Carve & Detail
Saharanpur’s carvers add the motifs, one chisel stroke at a time.

Sand & Finish
Sanded smooth and finished in layers to bring out the grain and protect it.

Inspect & Deliver
Checked joint by joint, packed for transit and sent to your door.
