A acacia wood bar unit / home bar in solid acacia, made the way furniture was made before it was flat-packed. 47.24" W Bar Cabinet with Woven Rattan Doors. Finished in natural, with the grain left where you can see it. Acacia is hard-wearing, with a grain that runs pale gold to deep brown across a single board. The frame is squared and checked before the finish goes on, and again after. Boards are picked for grain and strength, then planed, cut and fitted by hand. Every surface is sanded through the grades until it is smooth to the hand, not just to the eye. We finish by hand, wiping back between coats, so the surface still feels like wood. It measures 40 x 18 x 42 in (102 x 46 x 107 cm) and weighs about 53.5 kg.
