Acacia Wood Storage Bin

A acacia wood storage bin built to order in solid acacia in our Saharanpur workshop. Large indoor/outdoor storage bin with reinforced thick solid wood panels and a sturdy steel frame; two-sided handles and a hinged cover keep pet food and supplies fresh and organized. Finished in natural, with the grain left where you can see it. Acacia is hard-wearing, with a grain that runs pale gold to deep brown across a single board. The frame is squared and checked before the finish goes on, and again after. The timber is seasoned before a single cut is made, so the piece stays true through Indian summers and monsoons. Boards are picked for grain and strength, then planed, cut and fitted by hand. We finish by hand, wiping back between coats, so the surface still feels like wood. It measures 20 x 14 x 18 in (51 x 36 x 46 cm) and weighs about 8.9 kg.
