Acacia Wood Wardrobe

A acacia wood wardrobe in solid acacia, made one at a time rather than run off a line. Shaker Pine 41.25 inch wide solid wood entry hall wardrobe. Finished in natural, with the grain left where you can see it. Acacia is hard-wearing, with a grain that runs pale gold to deep brown across a single board. Every surface is sanded through the grades until it is smooth to the hand, not just to the eye. The frame is squared and checked before the finish goes on, and again after. Joints are mortise and tenon, cut and fitted dry before anything is glued. We finish by hand, wiping back between coats, so the surface still feels like wood. It measures 48 x 22 x 78 in (122 x 56 x 198 cm) and weighs about 97.2 kg.
