Mango Wood Round Serving Tray 2

A mango wood round serving tray 2 built to order in solid mango wood in our Saharanpur workshop. Round mango wood black serving tray with metal handle, 15x15x4.5 inches. Finished in black, with the grain left where you can see it. Mango wood is close-grained and warm in colour, a plantation hardwood that takes a finish evenly. The frame is squared and checked before the finish goes on, and again after. Joints are mortise and tenon, cut and fitted dry before anything is glued. Every surface is sanded through the grades until it is smooth to the hand, not just to the eye. We finish by hand, wiping back between coats, so the surface still feels like wood. It measures 15 x 15 x 4.5 in (38 x 38 x 11 cm) and weighs about 5.1 kg.
