Reversible L-shaped chaise sectional sofa with plush detachable seat and back cushions, a movable ottoman, sturdy solid wood legs and frame, and non-slip hook-and-loop fastener strips to keep cushions in place. Finished in walnut, with the grain left where you can see it. Sheesham is the wood Saharanpur is known for: dense North Indian rosewood, deep brown, and the first choice of our carvers. The frame is squared and checked before the finish goes on, and again after. Joints are mortise and tenon, cut and fitted dry before anything is glued. Every surface is sanded through the grades until it is smooth to the hand, not just to the eye. We finish by hand, wiping back between coats, so the surface still feels like wood. It measures 108 x 68 x 32 in (274 x 173 x 81 cm) and weighs about 315.8 kg.
