A teak wood square bar table in solid teak, made one at a time rather than run off a line. Sophisticated 31.5-inch square bar-height patio table made from sturdy teak wood with a teak oil finish; extra height for use with bar chairs, 100 lb weight capacity, seats two adults. Finished in teak oil finish, with the grain left where you can see it. Teak carries its own oils, which is why it takes heat, damp and years of use better than anything else we work with. The frame is squared and checked before the finish goes on, and again after. Joints are mortise and tenon, cut and fitted dry before anything is glued. The timber is seasoned before a single cut is made, so the piece stays true through Indian summers and monsoons. The finish is built up in thin layers so the grain stays visible rather than buried under paint. It measures 42 x 24 x 18 in (107 x 61 x 46 cm) and weighs about 30.3 kg.
