A mango wood armoire/wardrobe in solid mango wood, cut, joined and finished by hand. Vintage-inspired armoire crafted from solid mango wood with warm brown finish; two hinged doors reveal four interior shelves; recessed base. Kelly Clarkson Home collection. Finished in warm brown finish, with the grain left where you can see it. Mango wood is close-grained and warm in colour, a plantation hardwood that takes a finish evenly. The timber is seasoned before a single cut is made, so the piece stays true through Indian summers and monsoons. Joints are mortise and tenon, cut and fitted dry before anything is glued. Every surface is sanded through the grades until it is smooth to the hand, not just to the eye. The finish is built up in thin layers so the grain stays visible rather than buried under paint. It measures 48 x 22 x 78 in (122 x 56 x 198 cm) and weighs about 83.7 kg.
