Teak Wood Dog/Cat Sofa Bed

A teak wood dog/cat sofa bed in solid teak, made one at a time rather than run off a line. Modern pet sofa bed for cats and small-to-medium dogs featuring an ergonomic curved wood back, waterproof fabric, and a detachable washable cover; designed to blend stylishly with home decor. Finished in natural teak, with the grain left where you can see it. Teak carries its own oils, which is why it takes heat, damp and years of use better than anything else we work with. Boards are picked for grain and strength, then planed, cut and fitted by hand. The frame is squared and checked before the finish goes on, and again after. Every surface is sanded through the grades until it is smooth to the hand, not just to the eye. We finish by hand, wiping back between coats, so the surface still feels like wood. It measures 32 x 24 x 10 in (81 x 61 x 25 cm) and weighs about 12.8 kg.
