Mango Wood Wall Mirror

A mango wood wall mirror built to order in solid mango wood in our Saharanpur workshop. Large wood-framed wall mirror with weathered rustic charm and clean simple design. Finished in weathered rustic finish, with the grain left where you can see it. Mango wood is close-grained and warm in colour, a plantation hardwood that takes a finish evenly. Joints are mortise and tenon, cut and fitted dry before anything is glued. Every surface is sanded through the grades until it is smooth to the hand, not just to the eye. The frame is squared and checked before the finish goes on, and again after. We finish by hand, wiping back between coats, so the surface still feels like wood. It measures 21 x 1 x 16.75 in (53 x 3 x 43 cm) and weighs about 1.8 kg.
